pros and cons
there are only consequences.

The only wrong decision you ever made was when you did not decide at all.
Society makes you believe that there’s always a correct path.
We are hardwired from birth believing that the ‘normal’ is to study 14 years, then study 4 or 5 more, then do some more studying until you either become a doctor or an engineer.
You are frowned upon in certain schools (even homes) if you ask too many questions.
You are not ‘allowed’ to explore your own curiosity.
If one is brought up in a world like this (present company included), what happens is that we are instilled with the idea that there are right decisions, and there are wrong decisions.
The world becomes black and white.
Everything becomes scary now because now, we start to live in this constant fear that sometime someday, we will make the wrong decision.
And this leads to, making no decision at all.
Relate enough?
Let me preface this dial by saying, there are no right or wrong decisions.
There are just, decisions.
The ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ part only comes into play specific to your situation.
"There is no right or wrong choice; there are only choices and their consequences.”
Life is nothing but living out the series of consequences your actions reap.
There’s a lot of talk recently about whether ‘grind culture’ should be accepted or not.
A: You shouldn’t spend your young and best days working away in a room for something that’s not even promised. Live in the moment.
B: If given the chance to have the life you dreamt in 5-10 years and your future set, but have to put your head down and work for 1-2 years, why would you not take it?
Here’s my take on it.
Both sides have valid arguments. That’s it.
Do you see the point?
Like every other debate on the internet about whether ‘X’ is good for you or not, it depends on you.
If you want to hustle, hustle.
But know that this life is not easy, nor is it going to be.
Know that you have to sacrifice a lot. Fun, friends, family time—and I haven’t even mentioned the mental dilemmas.
You will question yourself multiple times along the way.
You will want to quit knowing how lonely it gets some days.
But know that by never quitting, you win. That’s the rule of the game.
And the rewards; time, financial, and location freedom.
Travel anywhere in the world, anytime with anyone. Make your money work for you.
Or you could go work in a 9-5 job, meet new people here and there, have fun on the weekends with your friends, and earn a steady income month on month.
It has its own cons—job security, the monotonous life, the feeling of being chained to something, etc., etc.
You know the life.
I have given you a brief insight into each choice. Imagine you had to take one right now.
The hustle life offers stuff that the 9-5 could never. But, the ride is not for the faint-hearted, nor is it meant to be a smooth one.
So, choose.
And please remember.
There are no wrong decisions.
Just choose. What is best for you.
There is no perfect option. There is no perfect outcome.
There are merely consequences.
Apply this to any and every crossroads you are at.
Before making that decision, weigh the pros and cons.
Then there’s only one question that truly matters:
What consequences are you willing to live with?
Answer this, and you have your ‘right’ choice.
Godspeed, and have a good week. ⚡️
